Changes and Stages

"God can and will use you in all the ages, stages, and changes of life."

Today's devotional was discussing how God can (and will) use people in every stage of their life. Many people believe they are either too old, to young, too poor, etc. for God to use them. However, this chapter challenges those believes and reassures me that God will use anyone!

Recently, last August to be exact, I was married to my high school sweetheart! Even though we had been dating since 2001, there were still areas that we didn't know yet about each other. One of them being the others' individual walk with God. This never became a "challenge" but it did open up doors for the two of us that we needed to enter. This was a way that God was using me (and my hubby) in another stage of our lives. Now that we're married, we have started a bible study group based around couples. We would not have been able to do so beforehand, but God led us to decided that we should begin a group that focuses on this topic since it is so common!

In Ecclesiastes 3 God tells us that there is a season for EVERYTHING! (You should read it if you haven't recently). This passages gives me encouragement, hope, patience, many things that are necessary when I'm waiting for God to reveal something. Knowing that there is a specific time for everything, I can rest assured that this even means there is a time when God can reveal is plan for me (and you) and it just may not be now!

My challenge today is a long one...I am looking forward to completing it but need more time. I will post it up for tomorrow's post and I hope that you all will complete the challenge as well. It will consist of a timeline and maybe an understanding for God's timing! I'm excited!
