This blog post is based off of Psalm 13:1-6 from the "New Women's Devotional Bible".
There are times in life when we may feel alone. But there is a difference of feeling lonely here on earth and then feeling alone and separated from God's presence.
I cannot say that I have ever felt separated from God or a time when I couldn't feel His presence. I do know of a story of a friend who felt far from God one night. She sat up in her bed feeling confused and scared because she didn't sense God. She began reading her Bible and praying until she felt God near again.
It is a scary thing - to not have God with us. But God promises us that He is always here. His presence is always nearby! We are never alone.
