You Can Make a Difference

There have been so many people in my life that have influenced me in a great way. As I think about it, every one I've ever come into contact with has influenced my life in some way, shape, or form. However, only some of them have influenced my life in such a great way.

Some of these people are:

• My parents
• My grandmas
• My dear friend, Amy
• My mentor, Carron
• My teachers, Rivera, Ruiz, Borges, Cook
• And so many more!!!

It is easy enough to be influenced by people in a positive way, but the real challenge is passing along that influence. I can take each one of these people that influenced my life and know exactly how they made a difference. I also know who and how I can pass the influence along too.

Today, and every day for that matter, I have the perfect opportunity to be an influence in someones life. I have lots of young children who look up to me and depend on me for support and encouragement. I have coworkers who are beginning to depend on me for structure, direction, and support. I have parents who are depending on me to keep their children safe and feeling loved throughout the day. Like I said, the perfect opportunity to be a positive influence in so many lives - and that's just in one day!

Every day is an opportunity to make a difference in someones life. Make today that day!
