This blog post is based off of 2 Samuel 9:1-13 from the "New Women's Devotional Bible".
King David wanted to pay his respects to his dear friend, Jonathan, so he invited his son to dine at the King's table forever. He also gave him a living, and things to provide for his family, and gave him a safe haven.
When we sit at the King's table we are safe. We are wanted. We find sanctuary there. God's grace is at His table. If we come to it we are blessed, and saved, and whole.
Where is your sanctuary? Is it at home where you feel safe and sound? In church? With your family? Find your safe place, your sanctuary.
