Health and Fitness

"Half the spiritual difficulties that men and women suffer arise from a morbid state of health."              Henry Ward Beecher

Of course this morning's devotion was about fitness and keeping your body healthy. Of all the things it could have been, I got to read about exercising and staying fit.

I have to stay, I've been pretty lucky in life. My metabolism has made up for all the times I didn't want to exercise and go to the gym. I know that exercise just isn't for the outward appearance, but for the inner being as well. I need a healthy heart, muscles, and other organs need the exercise as well.

So, after reading this morning's devotion I realize that I need to work out. I need to say fit and healthy - not for me, but for God. He made this body, He dwells in it, and He wants me to! So, I am now inspired to create an exercise schedule - and stick to it!

Will Do
  1. Remember that my body is a temple of God
  2. Be consistent in an exercise program
  3. Be aware of my body's needs
  4. Enjoy what God gave me
  5. Think of my health as a treasure to be guarded
  6. Be more in tune with my body's needs
