It is so easy to feel lonely at times. Even if you are in a crowd of people, or in a classroom of screaming children, there are times when loneliness creep in and your feel abandoned. This is something that is common and everyone has felt this way before.
Today's devotion was about loneliness and the solutions to getting past that awful feeling. First, you must understand that you are never actually alone in your loneliness. God is always there. He is waiting for you to call on Him and spend time with Him! Second, never allow the pain of loneliness to close your heart. Sometimes we are so caught up in our feelings of loneliness that we don't realize the many people around us willing to spend time with us. Don't let the negative feelings push out the possibility of a positive one.
And last but not least - remember that you never have to stay lonely. God is always there and so our the many people around you that are willing to talk when the times get tough!
