Inner Strength

"Nothing is so strong as gentleness; nothing so gentle as real strength." Saint Francis De Sales

Strength is something that the women of God truly have. This is not the same strength as being able to lift weights or do a thousand push-ups. This strength comes from within. A type of strength where we can endure things, understand things, use our talents wisely. This is the strength I'm referring to.

Esther showed great strength when she put her life on the line in order to marry the King and ask for her people to be set free.

Mary showed great strength when she risked her life by agreeing to carry the Son of God when she was a single woman. Not only was is strength that it took to risk her life and marriage, but also strength to know that she would be the one to raise Jesus.

There are so many stories of strength from the women of the Bible. There are also many stories of other women of God that we can look too for our own inner strength and hope.
