And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28Do not regret the past. It's as simple as that!
I have found myself thinking really hard about the decisions I've made regarding my education and choices in career. Not saying that I chose the wrong path (as I know well, God doesn't make mistakes and I know that I am where I need to be) but just wondering how thing would be different if the process was a little less rocky.
This morning I was reminded that regretting the past is not what God intends for us to do or how He wants us to live. He says that everything will work out according to His plans and we should not worry or regret. These past few weeks have been wasted on worrying and somewhat regretting and I want to be free of it! I want to be able to be at peace with my decisions and know that God has a plan for me.
I've decided yesterday that this is exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to be happy with the path that is laid before me and continue living life to the fullest. That is what God wants and that is what I want to do as well!
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Micah 7:7
