He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah. Ephesians 2:6Today's devotion was just what I needed. It reminded me that Christ is above all things. He can see the beginning from the end and He knows just how to handle everything!
This tells me that what I'm dealing with is something He can handle. My day is one that He already has planned out and all I have to do is reach for His hand and let Him guide me through it. This is very comforting to me - especially with the way my days have been going.
Today will be better because I have the mindset of Him leading me through. I can call out at any time and ask for His help and He will be right there. All of this - time, stress, anxiety, hurt, pain - it's all underneath Him and if Christ is with me, I can handle it!
Peter, suddenly bold, said, "Master, if it's really you, call me to come to you on the water." He said, "Come ahead." Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus. But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, "Master, save me!" Jesus didn't hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand. Then he said, "Faint-heart, what got into you?" The two of them climbed into the boat, and the wind died down. Matthew 14:28-32
