The Answers are Coming

Attention, all! See the marvels of GodHe plants flowers and trees all over the earth, Bans war from pole to pole, breaks all the weapons across his knee. "Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything." Psalm 46:10
Pray diligently. Stay alert, with your eyes wide open in gratitude. Colossians 4:2
Sometimes it's not so easy to fathom and understand God. A lot of times we don't even go there and we tend to not question or think to hard about it because it boggles our minds to do so.

This week we have talked a lot about trusting God and laying our burdens at His feet. This is a tough thing to do, especially when the burdens are quite heavy, but practicing it with the small things of life prepare us for the larger things and more heavy burdens.

We've also talked a bit about asking God things without doubting it. This is also a very hard thing to do. I'm not sure if it's our human instinct, to doubt that is, or if it's our defense mechanism. Either way, we tend to doubt God's abilities as we are asking Him for something. Instead of this, why not ask Him for things, and as you do, thank Him for the answers that are already on their way. This is an easy way to push the doubt out and practice trusting God.

I challenge you to praise God for the "on the way" answers. Don't let the doubt creep in.
Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust. 2 Peter 1:3-4
